My mum was at some markets yesterday telling people to enrol or check their details and said it was shocking how many people were going to THROW THEIR VOTE just to spite the government for not using a parliamentary vote or because they didn’t want to waste their time. NO ONE wants to spend time voting on something that should have been decided in parliament but a vote thrown is a vote wasted and a vote that could have been used to vote yes.
She told me how it was shocking just how many people said they won’t vote, can’t be bothered, didn’t know how to vote or said they would vote no. please stress the importance of voting
we need your help guys. please make sure people are enrolled and up to date and please convince them to vote and not just throw their vote. please make sure you and your friends and family know WHERE and HOW to vote
and please make sure you actually post your vote and don’t let it sit at the bottom of your bag and only realising weeks later you’ve forgotten to post it and it’s too late!!
you will receive it in the mail if your details are up to date and you can post it at a POST OFFICE/SHOP or at a mailbox (those big red boxes on the side of the road lmao)
you only have FOUR MORE DAYS (24th of AUGUST) to enrol to vote and check your enrolment! after that it’s too late and you will not receive the vote.
please vote and please spread awareness. although this is non-binding and doesn’t have any political weighting, it is crucial to get as many people to vote yes as possible.
